Work and Income module

You and your family are guaranteed legal help and advice in the event of disputes within the European Union, Norway, the United Kingdom and Switzerland concerning paid employment, benefits or pensions. In other words, you and your family are insured for disputes:

• About pay, for example, salary or holiday allowance.
• About an employment contract if, for example, you or a family member are forced to accept fewer working hours and/or different work and/or work at a different location. Including as a director under the articles of association.
• Arising from a complaint or a potential disciplinary or court hearing against you or a family member in your role (or former role) as an employee.

Disputes with clients are not insured if you or a family member are self-employed.

The maximum compensation for external costs resulting from industrial disputes as a director under the articles of association is €15,000.

General

• All expenses for the legal specialists employed by ARAG are covered.
• The maximum compensation for external costs (fees paid to a legal specialist or expert who doesn’t work for ARAG) is €50,000.
• If you choose to engage your own lawyer or solicitor who doesn’t work for ARAG for proceedings that do not legally require a lawyer or solicitor, the maximum compensation for this lawyer or solicitor is €6,000.
